There should be no cables seen when it's on the stand either - you just run them down the back of the stand.
Maybe. But then why put a nice climbable cabinet right below the shiny TV? :)
I know it comes to personal preference. It just always seems silly to me to go to the effort of wall...
I've never understood why people wall mount TVs right above an entertainment cabinet. Why not just stand the set on top of the cabinet?
It's not as bad as people who wall mount their TV 2 metres above floor level though. Can only assume they enjoy neck problems. :D
The settings for egress lighting, beep on lock, etc. are individual to each key. I don't know if you can sync them, but you should be able to change the settings on one to match the other.
Depends what you want to paint really. I got a kit from this mob for doing gaming pieces. It's quiet - you can certainly hear it but it doesn't wake the kids up if I'm painting at night and the tank means the compressor isn't running 100% of the time anyway.
Watched the first few episodes. Started ok but nothing has happened since. Don't think I'll stick with it. Also - what's up with the elevator music theme? :P
It comes down to personal preference too. I don't like the LCD "look" and much prefer plasma - I think it's a more natural looking image for both FTA and blu-rays.
Also, to the OP: there are still great non-smart (dumb?) TVs around. You can save a bit of money once you realise that you...
Yeah, mine are all MP3 CDs. Normal audio CDs don't usually have text information on them - a few do, but I've no idea if those will display on the car's LCD screen.
Display Mode on mine (2006 model) - as in the above photo. Just keep pressing it to cycle through the options.
I have a tough job getting mine to display the clock, but that's a different issue. :P
The R18 classification still has certain guidelines that a game has to meet to get the classification. Step outside of those and it gets RC (Refused Classification = banned). That was always the intent of R18 and was one of the main arguments for having an R18 classification for games (that is...
I have the speed warnings on my Garmin GPS. Most of the time it's correct, but it's not 100%. I'm not stupid enough to believe that I could successfully use it as a speeding defence if I was ignoring the posted speed limit signs in favour of what the GPS was telling me. :P
I don't know the legalities of a remote start, but in NSW you legally have to switch the engine off if you're more than 3 metres away from your vehicle. That would make the remote start fairly useless.
I have a spare wheel in my 2006 SSV, but it's a space saver type - I'd rather that than a can of sealant though. There's plenty of space in the spare tyre spot for a full size spare.
