well if you take the rubber thingey off from the top of the springs and just have metal on metal you will ret a rattle and knocking noise every time you go ova a bump. its hard to explain with out pics

thats true but in the long term tyres will cost way more and that money is better off on go fast bits. with low all you need is a comber kit and not the toe kit it might be expencive to fit but then you wont need to buy tyres all the time sorry for the thread steal HGsurf

its because of them rubber bits that sit on top of the rear springs that are about 15mm thick. i took them out and got some rubber from work thats about 5mm thick and it made it sit lower. if you take the rubber bits out all together the springs knock about so when you hit a bump you get that...
