    Removing/ installing LS1 Alternator

Excellent guide, thank you. I just done this myself on a series 1 VY SS. A couple of points I thought I'd add which made it easier in my case. 1. I drained the radiator from the bottom hose first. Made it less messy in removing the header tank. I also chose to remove the top radiator hose as...

    VY SS Check Engine light

    VY SS Check Engine light

Hey guys VY SS is intermittently throwing a check engine light, and then shortly after, it goes away. Doesn't happen all the time. Likely a sensor / voltage issue of some sort I imagine. Car runs fine, but all the same, I want to ensure I get it sorted. Im sure the ECU will store any logged...

vy 2 calais ls1 brake pads and rotor

I put in RDA rotors when I done a pad change, but only done this as I had warped front rotors, and didn't bother to get them machined (the new RDA rotors were cheap enough so couldn't justify machining the current ones) They've been on the car now for 40,000km, and are problem free for daily...

    steering wheel controls malfunction

Had all these symptoms - issues dont only occur on the one side. Both sides are all connected to the same wiring harness, and it has to do with resistance. steering wheel controls malfunction

Very common problem. Youll need to replace the set -both left and right controls. They are connected together on the same wiring. Youll need to disconnect the battery first due to the airbag, then behind the steering wheel, there are 4 holes on the rear. Youll need to put a small flade blade...
