I put E85 in my V8 when ever I go past a servo that sells it. It usually sells for about 20c a litre less than 91 and the fuel usage seems to be about the same. 35% less emmisions and it does seem to have a bit more go with E85.

Do the new sill plates come with the double sided tape? I want to get some SSV sill plates for mine.

I have a MY13 SSV Auto and it has done approx 2600 klm and the oil level has not changed since the day I picked it up.It has just had its 3000klm/3 month free service. How do I bring up the oil life monitor?

If it is a Z series like mine it won't have the redline badges but it has all the redline gear. Z series SSV came standard with Brembo's, FE3 suspension, Sat nav, sunroof and 19" forged alloy wheels.

Gave it a good clean after taking it for a drive yesterday.

I was told by a Holden Tech that the only mod you can do that won't cause any warrenty issues is cat back exhaust.

Sticks to the road very well and very little body roll when cornering. Havn't really had to use the brakes real hard to stop yet but they do pull the car up nicely at normal speeds.

Maybe try to compare the noise with someone elses new V8 engine? My car is one week old and has the injector tick. It had 8 klms on the clock when i picked it up and was ticking when they started it at the dealers. The demo SSV I drove also had the same ticking noise which I asked about and was...

My new SSV Z has ticked since day one but its just injector tick. It is quite loud when the engine is as idle.
