So i know theres alot of threads on this but I recently done my rear main seal and took it for a drive and its still leaking,
wondering will it leak at idle? Just wondering if i can leave it running and watch for a leak to make sure its the rear main [/URL][/IMG]
Ive got a vn 3.8 has been turbd now its time to step up to the next level im getting my heads ported and polished,
Once there done ill be uping the boost and am wanting to run steel head gaskets but im having trouble finding series 1 upgrades everything ive found is series 2 any ideas one...
I brought some from superpro shortend ones threw them in tonight and its still sitting on bumpstops, whats the difference between ute and sedan springs besides load rating etc
I have a vg ute that ive lowered i have stortend bumpstops on the way but i was wondering if anyone has the measurement from bumpstop to diff with standard suspension,
Reason i ask is i forgot to measure mine and wona make sure it wont bottom out as i have to take it for cert (engineered)
I recently got superlows i put in my vn ute now it sits on bumpstops as i new it would
My question is I know you can buy aftermarket shortend bumpstops for lowering but has anyone used them was just curious are they short enough to be able to run superlows
I just recently brought a manual vn v6 wagon it has a hell of a diff wine and it's cheaper just to replace the hole diff
My question is what ratios did they come out in i know autos run 3.08 but what did manuals run?
I know its on the tag on the backplate but cant check it atm
I recently wrote off my mint low km vn running a series 1 engine, ive found a vp that i wona swap all the running gear into but its a factory series 2 v6
I wona know is it a straight plug in wireloom wise? Can I just throw the series 1 plug in all the wires and change the radiator etc to...
That could be the way to go i think,
As for the heater hoses can i just join the inlet outlet in the pik above with one hose then just plug the bottom outlet in the filler/overflow bottle

I have a commodore with a series 1 v6 ive got a new aftermarket alloy radiator with radiator cap like series 2 im going to run,
Im also going to remove heater so ill run a hose back into its self as in photo below, and plug the other hose in the next photo

Ive gotta vn and im wanting to change the just the front hub shaft peace that the bottom arm and steering rack are atachd to not the tower section
It looks lile its 2 peace a noin at the bottom of the tower but does anyone know if they separate

Ive got a vg ute that im having issues with my drivers side indicator flashing really fast so I checked all bulbs in the ute as usual thought a bulb was blown but there all fine no corrosion ether,
I tried my hazzards and only my passagers side work, ive checked every fuse and the relays...
Ive got a mate who's just brought a vy with a leaky rear main, ive done a vn 2 peace rear main before an that was a interesting,
I have seen the vy seals are they Sinple to do? Any special tools required, definitely gota be easyer than a vn

I would like to get rid of the hose clutter so am thinking about removing the heater hoses as i never use the heater anyway,
But my question about it is whats the best way of going about it...
