The housing seems to have come loose and has around 3 mm play all around it. It is still secured OK but seems to have come adrift afrer someone knocked it in a car park. Is there a way to tighten it or does it just "pop" back into place somehow?

My driver's side seatbelt in a VY Monaro is very frayed. I am told you cannot get genuine ones anymore. Any advice / experience with after market ones? TIA

Hi guys, I am getting my VY Monaro (owned since new) refurbished; had the leather all redone, new wheels etc and spent 8K on getting all the dings and bunps out (bastard shopping centres). Only thing left is new headlights as they have perished on the inside - an outside pro clean helped, but...

Has anyone bought this? If so, have you worked out what the smaller numbers are next to the larger for each wheel? The manual doesn't say! I assume it is tyre temp?

Hi guys, with the VY Monaro, I believe the swing out / down / rotate drinks holder in the centre console (vertical bit up to the dash) is the same as the SS yes? My left hand one has snapped and I have managed to get a 2nd hand complete unit from a wrecker thankfully. Any clues as to dismantle...

Whenever I turn on the headlights, after about 10 seconds I get the "Rear Light Bulb Failure" warning on the dashboard. But all lights (brakes, reversing, number plate etc) globes are working perfectly! Any clues? (2003 VY Monaro, 6 speed)

When going up an incline, the aircon autotragically switches to Heat Demist on the window. When the car levels off, it kicks back to normal cold. Any clues as to why?

Is this controlled via the ABS module or something else please? Have replaced the ABS module and now traction control is inoperative. Coicidence? Oh and does the centre console mounted electric window switch system "pop out" or do you need to dismantle the whole centre console? TIA David

Well I'd hope NATRAD would have checked that (condenser) but I'll check. I'm not losing any fluid BTW. And no, the radiator is fine, no rotting core.

Thanks mate, the hoses were also replaced today so I can eliminate that. The water pump is also good. SO the sensor seems to be the issue by elimination from your excellent summation. Appreciate it!. David
