The chrome is a no-cost option. It's not that its being re-instated, its that they are optioning the chrome instead of black. I would also be obliging if a customer was paying north of 50k, Lol

Not at all. I get compliments all the time. I also upgraded to 20" Hf's & together with the xforce exhaust, Sports Armour, black lion logos, full sized wing, all LED lights, stub aerial & all the blackouts,..she looks looks the deal!

You don't have to pay through the nose retail on ANY of those parts. All OEM parts are available from 3rd party dealers & eBay far cheaper.

I like many, HATE the chrome. I removed as much chrome as I could, bar the windows. Even the SS on the side got the junk pile treatment for it's 80'3 nostalgia font. Most the higher model black out editions on luxury vehicles are chrome free, thankfully.

That is correct. There is a Dealer meeting next week to discuss the '17 Commodore, but you didn't here that from me. As mentioned '17 orders are not yet available to the general public, neither has it been 'officially announced yet'.

The MY17 hasn't been officially announced or released yet. It is usually up to 2 months for a standard Factory order, though it's not unusual to hear of 3 due to delays.

You can carry passengers - if they are children, and forget about carrying suitcases. They can be carried only in the back seat with the hood down. Just completely impractical.

I've driven a Mustang in the States and cannot agree less. The Mustang, although coolish looking on the outside, is full of cheap looking plastics on the inside. Handles well on corners, but just doesn't have the clean drive of a VF.
