Hi guys, Know nothing about modern cars. Half way through changing my exhaust on my vf s1 redline to a set of hsv headers and mid section and realised that each exhaust has 2 o2 sensors 1 before the cat and one in the mid section. Hsv only has them before the cats. What do i do with the rear...

Thanks for the help guys. picked some up today from an exhaust shop. Picture helped heaps. Took a bit of explaining for him to understand it was 2.5 inch and not 2.25. Got there in the end. Just need to pick my bi-modals up and exhaust should be ready to bolt up after Bathurst. Cheers

help -part number for seal between 340kw cat and r8 mid section

Main reason is I don't have one at all, the headers I bought didn't have the seals in them. I have noticed there are lots of different profiles and sizes so just want to make sure I end up with the right one.

Hi guys as per tittle, I have got a set of 340kw headers and cats with the 2.5 inch out let, i have also purchased a r8 midsection. I have scoured the net and even went to holden spare parts to get the appropriate seal to no avail. The only one holden lists is for the 2.25 inch outlet...

Vf2 bimodal fitted to vf1 redline

Certainly some great information from some obviously knowledgable and experianced people. It seems that the key to the issue is that the main issue lies in the mid section. And what ever i do behind it is going to sound **** because i will only amplify a **** sound. New options 1 At a...

Vf2 bimodal fitted to vf1 redline

Yeah I have the ball clamp type which limits options a bit but there are still a few out there. I saw on eBay the hsv mid sections for 150 bucks with delivery km only. Bloody cheap and hard to pass up. Looking at them I will just need to get the o2 sensor bungs welded in.

Hi guys, Purchased a vf1 redline a couple of months ago and absolutely love the car. Only issue is how bloody quiet it is. The series 2 sounds a hell of a lot better. Was thinking about getting a set of vf2 bimodal mufflers and running them with the valve open all the time. I am sure this...
