No nothing was done to the engine beforehand but since then I have close the heater tap and filled it out with new coolant and bled the and I haven't had an issue everything's back to normal it actually runs better than it did

Its definetly overheated and I have a brandnew battery and havnt had any electrical issues.. I'm still thinking its going to be the therostat so will di the bleed etc and go from there... thanks for your help guys

Thanks mate but there isnt any leaks infact when it got really hot the pressure was so intense that heater tap broke and blew the hose off.. Im about to replace that now and refill the coolant and bleed the system and see how that goes... i obviously havnt had the car running for 24 hours but...

I have a vz sv6 and my back windows are playing up.. if i replace the bcm does it have to be the exact same number or can I use a bcm with a different number as long as it came from a car with all electrice windows
