By the looks of the outside they are the same other then the black plastic defuser piece. I am after the energy absorber behind the bumper and the VE version is a lot cheaper the VF ones. From a few pictures of the parts I have found there is very minor differences would stil fit. Anyone done...

That Ryobi impact wrench only goes up to 360Nm of torque which isn't a lot. A good air and even cordless impact should get it off.

What's the minimal rim to Brembo clearance people are running? Just purchased some new rims that I was told would fit Redline front Brembo brakes but the clearance is less then a millimeter.

Old post I know but did you end up using Percision Guard Rolling and how was it? I'm in Brisbane and looking to get the rear guards rolled. If anyone else can recommend somewhere that would be great.

Anyone used the Torque pro app for Trans temperature on a L77? The PIDs 221940 was the only one which would show a temperature out of the 3 options but starts at about 28deg C on a cold start. Seems wrong on a cold transmission?

How much oil did it take to fill? What's the best procedure for filling, after installing the new filter and pan fill with oil until it runs out the fill hole then run up to 30degs (pan outside temp?)and top up? Thanks.

You should be able to use something like the Aerpro CT10CV04 T harness and avoid cutting any factory wires. I run a Pioneer DSP using this harness and didn't cut any factory wires.

Anyone noticed this on their VF? It's a 2013 VF Redline.

I just finished installing this kit on my series 1 and from the little testing I have done so far it works as advertised. Also had no issue with communication with the seller.

They must have changed the design. The difference was around 20mm. Would be interesting to see some pictures of your rear shocks.

How did your suspension guy counter the extra lowering in the rear from using Koni shocks?

Wireless magnetic charger using the cigarette socket works well.

I had a hurricane 2.5" stainless catback system on my wagon with different headers and the drone was annoying. I put original SS bimodals mufflers on in place of the hurricane ones and was a lot better, not as deep a note but still good and drone was much better.

I had this problem with my Koni's. The spring mount point on the Koni shock is different to that of the original shocks. I was running SSL all around with original shocks and it was level but when I changed to the Koni's had to go to a SL in the rear to keep it level.

If installing Koni rear shocks just check the lower spring mount measurement to the original.

People really likes this feature? I have 2 cars with it and it's a pain in the arse in summer also a battery killer.

Having a wagon it's a amp, sub woofer and Android Auto. Just finished with sound insulation through the car which makes a difference.

With the Koni shocks the spring mounting position is lower then the standard shock. I was running SSL all round with standard shocks on mine and after installing the Koni shocks I had to go to a SL in the rear to bring it back to level.

Thank god it doesn't have adaptive cruise control. I have a work 2017 VW Passat with it and it sucks.
