Hi, Will i be able to do a straight swap on these two engines? They are both from 2005 VZ with LY7's.

Engine was already making the noise when I first got it, so damage was already done. Would the bearing damage be causing the intermittent issues? If it was completely gone I would have thought the oil pressure issues and engine noises would have been there consistently even when idling.

The tab's don't have any give is all. If you push them together with anything other than a pick it snaps.

I've got the switch out. Just not sure how to press the tabs in without damaging them, is there a technique or tool that can be used? I've done it previously with pick's but it wrecked the tabs.
