just wondering if a VL V8 radiator will fit into a VK. the cores have the same dimensions apart from the vl being 2mm higher. i want to put a set of au themos in cause the car is starting to overheat in the summer. but the bottom outlet on the VK radiator is too high. cheers for the advice

they were machined when i bought them from a guy in tullamarine T-JAM autos

should fit no problem. it was just a tight squeeze on the strut tower on the VK

tyres are brand new. but the tyres are to wide for a vb-vl. would probably need 235's or less and still would need a spacer, because they rub on the strut tower.

the guy i bought them off told me they would have no problem on a vk, but apparently they only fit VN - VZ now, his story changed after i handed him the cash so i just bought different rims.

i have a set of 18x8 wm caprice rims for my vk. i have been told that they would fit fine, but i just put them on and they rub on the strut where the spring sits. they have been spaced 4mm off the hub, but still just touch. has anyone overcome this problem or do i need a new set of wheels?

i thought it was strange that the vk was able to go from drive into neutral. my vr doesnt do it but i cant look at the metal plate the shifter runs along to check if they are the same because it is at the mechanics. i was hoping someone would know so i could finaly get the vk running this week

i have called around a few auto elecs in the dandenong area to get some quotes to wire up my new motor. one bloke quoted $3000 all of the others were around $2000. does anyone know any good auto elecs in the area that may have previously wired an injected 5.0l into a VK
