G'day all, Im slowly tidying up the old VP.. Stuck with a delamere. The car is Arctic white, black side mirrors and door handles. They need touching up, thought the handles could go white too but keep the mirrors black.. Have seen pix of both and some look totaly crap so Ive decided to keep...

Whats the cons to removing the aircon in my VP? Is it as easy as whacking in a smaller belt? and if so which belt to use? If anyone has tried this, let me know how things are going.. Cheers..

I presume the bearings are shot and belt is slipping? I know the cleaner had no effect on the water pup tho..

Did my service, air/oil/fuel filters, spark plugs.. Took it for a drive, still running bad and started to overheat... Water pump has killed itself... Just a co-incidence it happened when i tried the injector cleaner making me think it could be that... D'oh!!

Hey pr0n, have you done the service yet? I put a bottle of Wynns Injector cleaner (cheap crud!) in on the weekend, topped up with premium fuel and it ran great for a day, but now Im having the same problem.. I need to give it a good service, just wondering if it fixed your problem.. Cheers.

Does anyone know how I can turn my immobiliser off without the key ?? It never came with one when I bought it.. I know i'll probably have to end up going to a locksmith or Holden for a new key, just wanted to check if I could do something myself first... Cheers..

Ive have a guy buy some fittings off me to fit a similar one to his motorbike.. Sounded like rubbish but he swore by it... Was coming back once it was installed to show me but six months later.... Still no show..

Does tint-a-car have lifetime warranty? I bougth the car and a reciept came with it from them for the tinting... They are pretty good I think?

Does anyone know of a cheap way to fix bubbled window tint. Ive tried piercing it but the glue has dried-up.. Just seeing if anyone has a suggestion before i peel it all off.. Cheers..

Still tossing up wether to buy a VT or VX.. I have been told you cannot put 20 inch wheels on a VT without having the "guards rolled" but can fit them on a VX with less trouble.. Is this true and if so, what is involved in getting guards rolled?? Thanks...

Can i simply swap over rotors, calipers and wheels from the front of a VX to my VP without any other mods? I can have this setup for free only if i can put the VP setup back onto the VX... The VX will endup being sold off for scraps anyways, Just needs to run safetly for a few more kms...

What is involved in putting a bigger throttle body (Vn v8 65mm) into my v6 VP? Is it a piece of piss and would I get any increase in power at all?? Cheers.

I need new disc rotors, I went to Coventy Auto and they told me there are 3 different sizes for my 92 VP .. I thought it was a series 2 but the guys says that means it has ABS, but it doesn't... Can someone give me a little help :bow: on this subject. Not after anything flash, just standard...

I have seen VX headlight put on a VT but does anyone know if you can fit VY lights onto a VT easily enough? Obviously you need to replace bonnet/side guards/spoiler etc, but will it simply bolt together? Cheers... :bow:
