At the moment, I only have sound proofing and not sound deadening... In my ute, I did have sealed pod enclosures for the powerplant splits though. With the VS at the moment, I have made up some mdf pods which are sealed with resin, and sit behind the vs door grills for that slealth look...

lol!!!!.... Yeah as long as your happy!!! :) It takes me three days as I'm involved in SQ comps. If it wasn't for comps, I would just give it a quick tune.

$400 is great value for money, considering the sub its self retails for $399. As with the amp, it's 2 ohm stable as you know. It will (the amp) drop down to 2 ohms as its a dual voice coil sub. If it was a single voice coil sub, the amp would operate at 4 ohms only.

Besides being a 12" whats the measurements from the front of the sub, to the rear of the magnet for mounting depth?

I agree with Stone, as he knows his sh!t!!! sweefu, are you after sub bass to add some bottom end for sound quality, or are you chasing SPL? One good quality 12" sub in a sealed enclosure designed to the sub specs, is ideal for SQ. As for thumping bass or SPL, then you are talking about one or...

Hey Benny :) Don't underestimate those reactors. Amp and tune them and you will get good sound out of them! I won a SQ comp with a set of those! Not to mention also, that the judge from Option Audio was also blown away!

With the Reactor splits, last year I went up against Focal and SPL Dynamics in a SQ comp and won. I was running the splits, and an old Soundstorm amp to power the splits and an old Fusion FSW-12. For a set of cheap splits, they offer good sound staging! And as my splits were hidden behind the...

I have the PP-AM300010 which is in the link above that holdenboy has suggested, and at that price it is a brilliant buy!!!! It will drive the sub with ease, that's for sure!!!!

I would leave it where it is... Mounting it under the parcel tray will be worse, as it would be mounted upside down. And as you know, heat rises. Just curious, but is it dropping in volume due to being hot?
