I could make my relatively stock manual SS chirp 3rd gear. All i can see it requiring would be; 80 - 90 km/h, a boot full of throttle, 5.5k RPM clutch dump and no mechanical sympathy.

If you have an auto this is going to require a lot more than a good tune. For starters, do you have a stage 2 shift kit and corvette servo? If not, thats your starting point.

Sell the, 'special' ECU and buy a genuine manual one. Might lose a few $ but you won't have the ECU issues your bound to have with the 'special' one. (whether that be wiring it up or how it performs)
