No , And yes. Its tight but possible to remove the dizzy without removing the manifold. Have you checked to see you have not dislodged any plugs or pinched any wires ? There is only the one plug containing three wires that runs to the hall effect sensor in the dizzy, If any are damaged it...

Typically on a V6 its the coil packs , Leads and or plugs. A miss under load especially low in the rev range is a sure sign of a failing coil pack, They work harder under load at low RPM to create a bigger boom ( more time to charge ) It could also be a partly worn HT lead shorting on piece...

I had a set of plugs that were in there for far to long, They had eroded out to 2-2.5mm, The Idle was the main thing it fixed did feel all around better to drive with fresh plugs though ! But fuel economy stayed much the same made perhaps 30k's to a tank difference if that.
