    I would get a set of 1.90:1 ratio rockers if you haven't already done so and perhaps a smaller pulley (maybe 17 psi at least) that should see you pick up another 20 hp if tune is touched up.

    Get the smallest pulley you can fit on there and get the overrun balancer. If you don't you will just do it all twice and probably have to retune it. You won't see 280rwkw on 98 fuel but you 'might' get close on e85 and with a larger elbow and tb. As is you will see 230rwkw tops.

    Definitely go with with a 10psi pulley upgrade from Mace. Then I would start looking at cam and intercooler options and porting of the blower. Once cooled you can easy swap down to a smaller pulley with the modular hub.

    Very true. Why bother with heads, cam, exhaust, intake, tune, gears, throttle body and manifold on an ls1 when an xr6 turbo will chop it with a flash tune? People need to stop making themselves feel better about their insecurities by putting v6 owners down with their "I own a V8 talk"

    You either always use 98 or you don't. 10psi pulley should only ever be used with 98 octane fuel at the minimum.

    Why do some VYs have amber headlight indicator lenses and others don't?

    Pretty sure the series 1 VYs all had clear indicator inserts while the series 2 all had orange. If you saw a series 2 with clear they may have been swapped over.

    You're better off buying a stuffed l67 motor and rebuilding that. Don't do the top end conversion as its more hassle than gain in my opinion.

    It is better on fuel than the alloytecs and ecotecs though. Sits on 9.0 l/100km with a mixture of city and highway driving. Can't get less than 12 l/100km in the vy v6 ute doing the same sort of driving.
