ok.. so the error codes have come back 12..ok.. have replaced the fuil pump,fuel filter .. efi and fuel pump relays.. shes still cutting out... but now starts again first kick when you restart it... no problem at all to start .. just now.. cuts out randomly while driving.. either cruising along...

hi there, thanks for that... this is whats been checked so far or replaced.... fuel pump.. fuel filter.. relays for efi and fuel pump..all leads,spark plugs,etc... its still cutting out.. mainly while driving now..either cruising along doing 60/70 or slowing down to a stop.. starts again...

ok... so my hsv clubsport,1996 model cuts out randomly while driving... then hesitates to restart for ages.. then randomly kicks over again... starts no problem once shes cold.. but as the car is driven the problem gets worse... have replaced fuel pump and filter.. have tried bridging to check...

yeah,it does have a miss... at times it feels like its only running on 7 cylinders,yet ive confirmed it isnt the plugs,leads,coils,etc... im checking out the injectors atm but will look into the fuel pump as well...hopefully its one out the two... thanks heaps :)

sure have!! ive done ground up rebuilds on a hq1tonner,gemini,vl calais and a couple other older cars so know the basics to check,just trying to learn more about these modern engines if i can....if i can fix it myself and avoid the costs,i do it. Cheers.Suzi

my hsv 96 clubsport seems to be having hesitation moments driving up to and around the 60km mark,clears out when i put my foot down, theres a complete flat spot if you put your foot to the floor from takeoff/standing position,feels like the cars being robbed of power somewhere along the line...

hey there, my aerial on my hsv 96 clubsport has stopped working, does anyone have any idea where to start with the repair of this? the stereo itself still tries to pick up reception,but the aerial wont go up and down anymore, not even manually, any help would be greatly appreciated,thanks guys, suzi

last oil change was about 8 weeks ago,and no,not running down the block,ive degreased and cleaned the engine bay,top and underneath heaps of times and tried to follow the trail over a couple days as it takes about a day to work its way to the bottom where i can see it.. i am questioning the air...

thanks for replying,its definately oil of some kind.. all under the bottom of the car.. the top part of the engine bay is clean,no oil anywhere... the oil leaking looks clean though,very light brown tinge to it,almost gold..

ok, i get in to the car one morning and the aerial doesnt go up.. the radio is still trying to pick up reception but looks like the fuse/electrics for the aerial are shot.. can anyone tell me where i can find the junction for it and if anyone knows,how to fix it?
