well the crane 276 was my second choice. might be a bit more gentle on my ageing valve train and my fuel guage...lol. ive always owned v8's but never a cammed one, just love that choppy sound ;)

hey all, just been thinking about putting a crane 284 cam into my vs 5l stato, and i was wondering if i can put it in with the standard pushrods and valve springs?? lifters have recently been changed to crane anti pump ups.. any help would be appreciated...

Can you put the new dizzy back in the same spot as the old one so you don't have to set the timing??

from what ive seen on youtube thos x force systems sound pretty cool.....ive got a twin redback system on my ute, resonator has been removed, nice note but pretty damn quiet, thinking of changin mufflers to a more high flowing type.......

good idea, i know what its like to get your heart set on something, and buy it and ends up more trouble than its worth, not fun..

ive always used a wire brush with a bit of degreaser, or the wire wheel should be fine..

my vy ss ute makes a fair amount of valve train noise at times, comes and goes.... usually starts if i take it over 3 grand before its fully warmed up, and stays there until i take it out the road and tear the balls out of it for a few seconds, thats when everything quiets down.... very odd if...

definitely drop the rear a bit, ive got super low king springs in the rear and it makes a difference:)

hey, ive done a efi conversion to an old fj40 landcruiser, im just after a wiring diagram for a vr 5L engine loom so i can just check if i have power to all the right wires?.. memcal has been sent to greenfoam for a reprogram and to have all the anti theft **** deleted... any help would be great:)
