VLC86 no where in my last thread did i say i had used tire shine the only tire shine that has been applied is the shine that the white waller used the day he did it & he told me never to use tire shine only a vinyl protector which i found strange so the tires have never been touched since he did...

Just an update for Danny8, and whoever else is following this thread, car is now running and tuned and trans shift much easier once the car had bin idoling for a little while, same as what chrisso 82 pretty much said too

Hai guys Put a fresh Black 202 EFI into the calais It wont start i'v got power but im not hearing the fuel pump do a little wind up like it usually should wen i flick the igntion over... does this mean theres an issue with the fuel pump? the car was off the road for over 12 months...

I love HSV's so i'd go HSV anyday but its your money mate, I think u'd get more enjoyment from a clubby and will hold its value bit better as opposed to the SS but as i said your money your decision for next 5 years

ok yeah that may be it coz i put the dipstick for the trans back in last wk and it seemed to be running fairly lean on trans fluid.. so il drop the fluid fill it up again and see how that goes cheers man

Am running a B&M Megashifter in my VK The gearbox is a built up Trimatic out of a HQ (so selectors on the RHS) have done the loop around the trans and connected the cable to shifter and selector on trans but the shifts are very stiff any ideas as to where iv gone wrong would be greatly...
