You gonna be stuck on the short shift mate for the manual 6spd behind the alloytec. The ones out of the V8 gearboxes don't fit and are completely different. May have to get something custom machined. I like that boot install. Still seems very practical.

I'd say some form of LOC (Line output converter) My mate just did his VE with all JL Audio gear and then integrated it with Audison Bit-One LOC. Sounds mint.

The switch just powers the unit on and off. Just leave it on and hide the switch up in the dash where you mount the box.

Fair call couldn't find one on mine. I got a manual.

My power cable runs up and across the engine bay and through a small grommet behind the passenger side strut tower. There is a large grommot with part of the engine loom in there and then there is another grommet a little lower.

The product you want is called bailey channel and it goes in the channels on each side of the window where they run up and down. In older cars this starts to harden up and create rattles. It can be a prick of a job though. Probably require taking window out sometimes.

Haven't had a good look at the VT-VX stereo, but they mave have installed it with the original head unit brackets and bolted them to the side of the dvd unit. Therefore you may have to remove the surrounding trim to get it out, not just simply stick the keys in and pull.

From firmware version 2.10 I think it was (nearly 12months ago) the PS3 can now play DivX natively. And you can also get other programs to run on your pc to do on the fly conversion to the PS3. I just converted everything I had that wasn't DivX into DivX

Is there a diff gear stepping that is in between 3.08 and 3.46 for my Manual SV6. I think 3.46 would make it too undrivable in peak hour traffic.

I think the specs for the heights are in the user manual. Or that may be the service manual which hardly anyone has a copy.

So I assume you got it working. From faint memory the orange are the power for the windows. Black is earth. Pink or grey, can't quite remember is the power delay wire. The one that allows you to wind the windows up with the ignition off for a little while.

If I remember correctly when looking for dash conversions for my VZ SV6, the WK was the same plug as the VY and not compatible with the VZ. You need one from a WL.
