hey guys a you may remember awhile ago i was talking about getting an engine converison. i have decied to go with the L67 or (SUPER SIX). I have an auto ecotec in my vt at the moment and was just wondering what parts i would need to change to fit the l67. at the moment i have: -2600 torque...

just took some pictures of the interior... painted my dash surround silver and got a red tacho background for $20 bucks off ebay :)

good news foggies arrived yesterday :) just took a couple of pics before i went to work in the morning... cleans up the front of the car massivly what do ya think? also after looking at these pictures came to the conclusion that i need new plates so may aswell get some personalised ones...

cheers mate, im not sure on the shape though dont the ss's flair out down the bottom more than the normal bars?

another update just ordered a set of non-genuine foggies for the girl, she is coming along nicely :)

havnt posted on this for awhile, no real updates just de-badged the back of the car... enjoy now i just have to get ride of the trolley strips, get some fog lights and some ss side skirts

i know there is a company that makes ve kits to suit vt/vx's not sure of the name just type it into google mate

depends what state he is in mate, they all have a different level or tinting allowed, sounds good though mate

heymate yea colour code everything ya can, lower it on either SL's all round or maybe SSL's in the rear, tint the windows as said above and itll look 10 times better... there is nothing better than a clean not over done commo

yea mate talking to the experts cant hurt, does it have a rear muffler/resonator?

yea thats what i was thinking, and yes ive spent a fair bit on the look of my car, so would like to be able to keep it, plus have great memories with it, being first car and everything... with the l67 im pretty sure you would have to change the exhaust anyways cause dont the super six's run dual...

hey guys im getting off my p's soon and am thinking along the lines of swaping my engine over to either a gen 3 ls1 or a l67... just thinking what is the difference in the installation of these engines like is the l67 alot easier to install than the ls1 plus what is the difference in fuel...

how did you go about tuning your own ones mate?, and i agree soop, i put an enclosed pod setup in my vt then after about a week i took it off because all the difference it made was an annoying noise

hey guys found this replacement memcal on ebay, i dont think this particular one would increase the power up like 15kw like it says, i was just wanting to know would it be worth a try to see or does it have a chance of ####ing my engine, also are there any companies that do make reliable memcals...

yea ive had a look at them, but not sure to go with it or the mace version cai, from what i can tell they should work great because it reduses the amount of drag and restiction the air has on its way to the engine, the only thing that conserns me is how close the pipe is to the engine so it may...

thx mate cars are a never ending projects. i picked them up second hand for 600 with tyres mate... saw a set on ebay that sold for 200 so if ya keep an eye on ebay and ya never know :)

90 sounds pretty cheap mate, were they hard to fit in the bumper, cause ive heard a few guys say they dont mount properly... could you give me the brand name mate so i can be sure. cheers

cheers mate appreciate the construtive comments, yea mate rims are on the eventual cards, just not the priority atm. yea getting rid off the black strip and debadging are next to come

yea read that one mate but a few of the guys who replied said that they did it exactly as the guide said but still stuffed their paint... it seems its just luck from how well the strips were glued to each individual car.

yea mate had a bit of a look around the local area but being from bendigo there arnt many options around the area, yea im hating the strips too, just dont trust myself removing them. going to see how much a couple panel beaters will charge to do it.
