Hi all, Well I picked up a s1 vt 304 engine for cheap with all bolt ons, harness and computer. Just wondering wether it's possible to run the sequential injection loom and computer in the vp? I'd need the security stuff removed from the computer right? I don't have the bcm does that matter...

Called Holden just now and basically the 3 digit number is what's on the bcm. He said I could come down and get a print off with all the numbers but I'm about to head to work and you need proof of vehicle ownership which means my gf would need to come down with me. Wait till tomorrow I guess.

Is the factory security an immobiliser?

I've checked all fuses, they're fine. The headlights use to work with ignition off. I left the battery disconnected over night, see what happens now I guess. Its an executive, has cruise control that's it.

Every time I try and crank it but hold it there it does those beeps sorry.

Also no head lights with ignition off. No radio with ignition on. No dome light with doors open but works with switch. And every time I turn the ignition on then off I hear 5 beeps. Not sure where they are coming from, Passenger side some where by the sounds of it.

Yeah mine are all Good I've seen some mounted plastic to plastic, mine is mounted plastic to metal. Metal being the car side. Both are intact and fitted correctly. Is there anything that holds the very corner of the bumper on?(where it meets the wheel arch) sort of like the rear bumper setup?

Timing was at 16degrees advanced. Set it back to 10degrees. Still sits roughly around 100degrees Celsius with A/C on, town driving. Any other ideas? Thinking about getting the block and heads machined, hopefully to solve this issue.
