I hope to hear form Holdens today about the missing cars. 157,000 is a large number un accounted for. They told me yesterday that the 5,000,000 was in private hands so I couldnt get any details. But I'm still hoping I can get the pic of the 6,000,000 compliance plate to help balance Holdens 5 - 6 mill production numbers.

Holden said they couldnt help any more as the only info was in the Holden Heritage book
. You gata be kidin. Anyway they could be wrong on the 6,000,000th commodore too. My audit skills are OK. They have almost declined my request to photo the compliance plate. Still waiting. The National Museum is happy to help:thumbsup: but not Holden:ranting: .So I thing I should name the missing holdens some misterious type of name....

Holden have declined me the opportunity to photo the 6,000,000 Holden compliance plate. Something to Hide? The main reason to look at the compliance plate is the dates dont add up with what I have recorded. 732071 7/6/01
I have 720261 20/04/01,
I have 724737 03/05/01,
I have 735911 29/05/01,
I have 745086 21/06/01.
732071 does not fit in and I think the car was made on the 21 - 22 May 2001.
The VX production was 580 cars a day.
