Hey want to get some new rims on the stock VZ SV6, where I live there is about 5KM of rough dirt road until the sealed road starts. Is 19" too risky?

19's with low profile tyres arent that bad. Theyre rough but on dirt i suppose it would be easier on them than tar. Never the less its going to make your ride rougher anyway.

19s will absorb a lot less of the bumps so your suspension and you will cop a hiding depending on how rough the road is.

Thanks for the reply's. Its a very hard and rocky road that leads into town, if I'm careful and don't go flying should be safe of cracking a rim? what would it take to do this?

Again due to the low profile the rim is a lot easier to damage. personally Id stick with the 17s and 45 profile.

I live on 800m of dirt roads with 19's and superlows. Bad mistake, the rides really crap on unsealed roads. wish I stuck with 18s with a bit more rubber on them. Mines a VS though so yours might ride better

Seems like only available in 19" and 20"

Vehicle lowered?

18" or less, rough roads even in my old XR6 which had 17" wheels and tickford suspension was shocking
