If gonna lower eventually, different springs and shockers absorb differently of course.

King springs i found harsh, as with Ultima shocks.

Lovell springs apparently good as with pedders and pedders shocks

You can't compare lowered shocks to stock ones, there is a reason they are "harsh", if you have soft shocks the extra spring in lowered springs will overcome the shocks. That's the downside of lowering.

If you get soft shocks on stiff springs, the suspension will bounce.
