Yeah I'm going to.
Better brakes/ suspension components/ Differential and a chassis connector kit.

Aside from the hub caps, that's almost exactly what I want.

If I do modify it.
It will get VT brakes, and a warm motor. Quiet probably a VN diff. And a tubular front end, Chassis connector kit and a nice 300-350hp 318 mated to a T5.

There is not going to be any aesthetic modifications. That's sacrilege.

What benefits will the tubular front end and chassis connector kit have? Improved rigidity/safety or something along those lines?

Chassis connector kit will stop the body twisting with the torque of a V8.
Tubular front end keeps the suspension geometry better. Pressed steel flexes.

Jelly beans may not look great, but they were the wheel that defined the 70's in my opinion. You think 70's mags, you think jelly beans. Go for it Soop

I've always wanted a VE Valiant Ute, they're just so god damn sexy!

Looks like a great project!

When you finish the sedan, that wagon looks like it could do with a bit of lovin' too. Get Ari to help with the rust - after the job he did on the Chev, he's a natural.
