Personally, I'd go Modesta...and have done with my own car! Modesta gives an amazing finish, so much gloss! And with the black yours would look like glass!

I don't have any suggestions for reputable detailers in Melbourne though, sorry. Could be worth hitting up some of the car detailing forums and find examples of peoples work in your area and have a read of how they post to determine if they genuinely car and get a good rep or not.

Hi guys,

Not sure were to post this so I will post in my own thread.

(no still haven't collected the new VF beast... maybe next weekend!)

Ok up to 2 or 3 days ago whenever visiting this Forum the page would load and everything was fine.

I have the main VF page as my starting point.

What I'm getting now is the page still loads ok but I'm getting all these small "TV like" boxes with a white cross inside it.
These appear nearly on every topic on the page and wherever it says "go to last post" or "go to new post" or "attachments".

Really annoying.

Is anyone else getting this or I have just something creative (doubt that!) myself to bugger up the page config.?

Any help would be gr8!

Went to the dealer at Lunchtime to drop off my personalized slim-line plates that arrived during the week to be put on the black beast.
(thinking the car is only a day or so away and hoping to have it over the long weekend in Melbourne)

Wrong.

Car is still 2 weeks away. That will make it 4 weeks.

Not happy.
And the Doofus salesman says "you must be excited?"

I said "I was 2 minutes before speaking to you!, now not excited at all"

The wait awaits!

If you look on the Holden website the advertised price of the SSV Redline in black (metallic paint extra by about $600) is $57,602.

(and I assume that price doesn't include all the extras I'm getting)

My VY is in excellent nick (body/paint) with low klms (only 120,000) as work is only 3.5 klms from home.
It is a 5 speed 3.8 L V6.

I was trying to get more "free" stuff off him but he wouldn't budge saying I had received an excellent deal being a return customer.
I bought the VY from the same dealership.

You always wonder though if you have indeed received a good deal or if they are just blowing smoke up you to make you think that you have.
