2016 vs 2017 Redline differences?

I have driven both MY16 and MY17 and don't know any different. In fact one MY16 Wagon went like a rocket and also love driving that particular car.

id call bulls#$t, why would holden develop a new tune for???? Local dealer said he doesn't know anything different for VF LS3's

mate the dealers know jack **** about anything other than what's in the sales brochures
there was a thread about the altered tune for the my17 ls3 awhile back and some one posted a link to the article,
i would think a good reason for holden doing it would be its the last model.
my wife has a 2016 ls3 and i own a my17 ls3 and the my17 ls3 is more responsive down low,
even my wife noticed the difference between the two cars when the right foots planted

i think from memory it was a test from car guides or one of the motoring press on a ss ls3, and they quoted holden engineers had increased low down power tune for the ls3. power output was unchanged overall , just a bit more urge down low, do a search on the forum its on here some were

The claim sounds as genuine as brockies Polariser. Maybe it's got nothing to do the the ls3 tune. Possibly different diff ratios?

A change to the diff ratio will have a much wider impact and therefore be easily noticeable compared to changing the tune to deliver more torque at the start of the curve.

I'd go with the change being in the tune.
