VF SSV Redline MY17
I'm wondering if there's an easy way to work out the build number of my MY17 VF SSV? My parents had a '95 HSV 215i Senator back in the day, and they knew their build number. Is this just something unique to more expensive cars? (Eg Directors, HSV's).

I'm wanting personalised plates for my Son of a Gun grey bus and am struggling to find, something that I like, available for purchase. Thinking my build number would be a good option/inclusion (though I realise quite a large number of SSV's were built). Plates aside, it'd be interesting info to know.

'Build numbers' are usually associated with limited production cars, like HSV's and the limited edition Holden's(Directors, Magnums and MSE's)

You could always use the part of the VIN that designates an SSV.

I know a guy who had plates on his old SLR 5000 that read LX8VD69, which is the identifier for SLR 5000s.

As VS 5.0 stated, your VIN is your basic build number.
