According to Oztrack, the FE is 213/219. Regardless, they themselves state that it's aimed at LS1. I have no idea if it really matters, it's probably a nice lil cam in an L77, but there are some not insignificant differences between your heads and valves vs LS1's.

What does it idle at? Any push on breaks?

What power did it make? Good low and mid?

Any chance of a idle video?

It idles at around 700. A touch more push on brakes.

Power can't really be compared as I have a blower, heads, etc etc. I did them all at the same time.

Click in the 'here' link in my sig for specs, dyno charts and dyno video for idle.

While I am no cam guru, I have been lead to believe the .600+ lift puts a lot of strain on the valve train.

Is this incorrect ?
Yes correct. Mine is just a smidge over .600. lift and has upgraded springs, pushrods and roller rockers in the Higgins heads.

My tuner suggests valve spring replacement every 40,000. That's probably a good indication of extra strain.

the walkinshaw w407 is a great mild street cam for an auto needs no stall or good for a manual, its around 222-228 -590 lift on 114lsa ,
walkinshaw tested dynoed six cams and chose this one for best street manners while still having a lobey idle for there w407 package
most known cam grinders have this grind, lower lift makes it easy on the valve train, needs beehive psi springs

We are now discussing 218/224 on 115 lsa.

Told this will work well on the rectangular ports, give a very mild idle, good low end and drive ability

I think that's a good spec for your desired traits.

I would want it ground with +2 advance to get it in the low-mid range

Cheers.

Would this effect anything else other than a slightly earlier power delivery?
