As the cars are designed to run on low octane and E10 they will run the same on all fuels. Trouble is our std fuels are now poor quality and that Black tar **** that builds up in throttle bodies and fowls up sensors is a reality. I don't put ethanol in any of my vehcles cause I keep them a long time. 98 seems to be the only thing that helps clean the system. I use 95 and a tank of 98 every 3rd fill. If consumption increases a few tanks of 98 seems to bring it good again.

Not sure exactly what it consists of but it was thick enough to stick the throttle shut in my VY on cold mornings.

Check out the fuel economy I got on a 20 minute drive from Gawler to Salisbury running 98 octane.

I'm going to wait and see what the fuel economy is for around town though, I think it may be more. I've just run 1/3 of a tank and after driving around town it was 15.5l/100ks, it's normally closer to 13l/100ks around town on 91 octane - My 15.5l/100k reading could be off though - it seemed to jump up a bit after I got my windows tinted, so either they took it for a massive thrash or left it running for quite a while.

What you need to do is fill car run to nearly empty and do a manual calculation.
Write down Klms / Fuel used at the pump and work it out.

The VS was reading 18l/100k
Did a manual calculation car was running at 15l/100k.
The read out on the gauge is not right.

The pic reset trip meter at 100k/hr that is why the reading is so good.
I`ve been in one pulling 5.8l/100k that was fill up and back on the highway 100k/hr.
