Pull releif valve out give it a clean & light oiling then make sure it moves freely.

Thought filling up large oil filter then running engine to check oil again to realise 5ltr bottle was not enough was standard reaction lol

so... just HOW MUCH oil did you add? where is it on the dipstick?

don't larf .. I know of ppl who did an oil change .. added 2.5 litres or similar (or what was in the container)
and wondered why the engine rattled on start up ;)
Nearly 4 liters went in, almost full on the dipstick

Should still be more than enough to get oil circulating though.

Crap thing to get at , but the oil pick up screen could be blocked.

Was running fine before. Only sitting for a week. Sat for 3 weeks prior & no problems

I've never done this on a Holden but on other , more modern cars , I change the oil with a vacuum pump/ used oil tank suction tool using a nylon tube down the dipstick.
If you have one of these , and can make an airtight connection somewhere in the oil pump discharge line (like say the pressure transducer tapping) you can draw oil up through the pump to prime it without removing it to pack it with vaseline.
Might save a bit of time & effort.
On second thoughts sealing the pump discharge line to create the vacuum above the pump might make this idea more trouble than its worth.
