I wouldn't say everything is going to break.
Auto in good condition will handle it (if it has under 150,000 km's on it).
Diff could be a problem though... M76 definitely not, M80 should handle it
4L60E isn't staying together long with 350rwkw with a boosted setup if it's standard.

350RWKW is not very hard, nor is it that expensive.

One of my customers is running a ECOTEC with a turbo and it is making 465RWHP.
The best he has been able to run so far is a 11.01 @126MPH.

The only modifications to the engine is a set of heavier valve springs.
The turbo kit is from Exile Motorsport and it is running E85 and 21PSI of boost.

I am not sure what the turbo setup cost, but that was the most expensive part of the project.

The other costs were tune, injectors, surge tank, some wiring, a couple sets of drive shafts and a clutch.

The car is a VY, full street weight, street shocks and springs, with a GETRAG 5 speed.
Once he can afford some decent drive shfts he is going to be coming back for a more aggressive tune to see if we can get close to the 500+ RWHP mark on a poor old stocker.

Like I said:
Power, reliability and affordability. Pick two.
You have to pay to play.

Yeah I am hearing you, but that is the same for any car whether it be a 4, 6, 8.
having to trade one off is not a big sacrifice.

And with all that power everything else is gonna break eventually....

The same goes for a V8, so that point is irrelevant.
Start making power with any engine & you have to upgrade the driveline to accommodate the new found power. I ####ing hate when people make out this is only for a certain engine once it starts to make power.

Yes but the factory standard v8 driveline components will handle 350kw alot better than the v6's running gear. That being said....im sure alot of those components would be interchangeable from the 8 to the 6 with some slight mods??

There is barely a difference in the running gear, don't kid yourself that the V8 driveline is some superior setup.

The drive line is the same between them in most cases.......

Not sure. the owner has done so many passes its not funny and it is still going strong.

With a stock engine being under $400.00 and a set of springs being $200.00 and a GETRAG being about $400.00, who really cares???

Pop it and spend a few hours and a couple of beers and chuck another one in it.
One of the boys from WA has made more and his lasted near 2 years.....
Small price to pay for that kind of HP
