5 speed auto strength?

How much can this box take before it falls to pieces?
I'm thinking of going the supercharger, cams and pacey headers.
Any advice other than the usual "get a v8" bullshit would be greatly appreciated.

Not much more than the stock Alloytec can give it. It wasn't really designed for high torque or heavy(ish) vehicles. You can get overhaul kits for them to toughen them up to a 5L50E rating, but IMO the SC would kill it.

ive supercharged mine my auto box has been holding upto 250rwkw for over a year and still going fine
