hey everyone looking for some knowledge into bolting a 5ltr into a vk with an original 202. Just wondering what sort of mods need to be done i.e changing of the k frame or whether i just need a new mount kit? Any experience or knowledge on this would be much appreciated

is it possible to bypass changing the K frame?

Yeah if u buy the appropriate extractors to suit VN heads in a VB-VK shell.

You can run the standard K frame with the pacemaker headers, just get good at changing rack seals


When I rebuild my front end I am fitting a VN K frame, I just need to organise a rack &steering coupler and finish another project and the front end if getting a rebuild

I cannot wait to start my conversion. I have most of the parts sitting here, just need a shed that had enough room. I'll post pictures and status when I start.
