As per the snippet, I am after the bolts referred to as No.12 (7.5mm) bolt nut. Wreckers wont supply bolt only and I haven't got an existing set. KYB only supply the 15mm bolt. Maybe Pedders supply this one ? Otherwise I will search the nuts and bolt stores for a 7.5 or 8mm yellow zinc bolt nut one I measure the thread pitch.

#12? You're after a nut, not a bolt.
The thread at the top of the strut is an M16x1.5mm pitch. I'll assume it is 7.5mm thick.
Might be difficult to find a thin, 7.5mm thick nut, but a standard nut could be modified with a saw, grinder or file.

The only way you’ll get one of those nuts is to buy a couple to struts from the wrecker or market place to rat for parts.

You can get one made by a bolt place but that’s going to take a while.

Using the thread pitch details, I was able to find a lock nut to suite. Looks to be the same type as it jams under the mounting plate ? I will give them a go. Hopefully they can be torqued up. Should be at Din 439.

Apologies I mean nut.

A2 is 304 stainless and A4 is 316.

That’s a good find there.

Do Holden not sell these nuts? So far I've not come across a nut or bolt that Holden have not been able to supply.

I think we need to accept Holden is not there for us anymore.

I've bought lots through Holden. Most things I've wanted I've been able to buy from them and they are normally as cheap or better priced than eBay.

For 2 bolts its like $12.30 including delivery via snail mail  Crazy cheap. If you want them quicker like $6 extra etc. Once the United Fasteners fell away, it was left to the after market to cater for Holden for these things. And wreckers are still good but don't like breaking things apart.

It seems to be hit and miss depending on your location.

Our local Holden dealer is gone and they farmed out the spare parts to a 3rd party business. Over the phone they are useless, not sure what they are like at the counter yet.
