i was thinking it was way worse than that, with the whole door bent backwards. looks like you got away with with only a cuts and bruises. did you try some more bruit bending? when i put the second hand door on my calais it was out wide at the top and sunk in at the bottom. some twisting was in order... also try adjusting the door striker up a smidge, thats worked for me in the past too (the latch on the b pillar). crack the torx bolts and tap it vertical with a hammer then re-tighten.

After 4 goes at bending the hinge with the door just open, I had the door open wide and lowered it onto the wood blocks but felt any more could have snapped the hinge. So for now it will do. It will need the door off I think to access the hinge with heat and big hammer.

But at 410,000kms it may not need any more body work as it only has to go and stop lol.

In readiness for son to take over the green machine. Daughter is almost finished her second degree and will be off to earn mega dollars and will reluctantly hand back the wagon.

And didnt pay much for the Berlina - is broken - look at front wheels. :)

No but it's 3 metres closer to the shed and I can see the engine frame that will hold it for the rebuild. For now the wagon has the series 2 motor in it on gas.

Just need to get health back on track to attack the shed. Wife is out yard cleaning as I type.
