Wow thats amazing honestly I never realised you had owned that particular car for that many years you sir have commitment. You maybe the biggest VN fan ever, I bet that car is like a member or your family now

Yep - part of the family - and the car is a keeper. Even if at some time it has a rest from daily driving. It shall sit with a cover over it.

Next year it should get the V8 conversion. (the 8's are getting very cheap now)

Yes long time indeed - it has been on the chopping block 3 times in its life - so close to getting the bullet when it had the electrical meltdown a while back. And when the gun metal grey pain blistered after 6 months (after original azure silver and before Hot House Green). Then when it was rear ended this year.

But just could not say goodby after so long.

The old moon disk hubcaps Speeeyou's up lunch:p

I have a list of mods done over the 20 years on the forum somewhere - just cant remember when I posted it up. It is a very long list:)

Yep, I remember reading it...long and interesting life this car's had. But, I must ask...how long did the "Holden - Australia's Driving Future" sticker on the tailgate window last? :p I'm amazed I still see them - saw a VN Calais just this afternoon with one still on, with the red in the Union Jack on the Aussie flag horribly faded. :p Oh, and I agree with what you said on the original hub caps - if it were me I'd rather just have bare stockies. :p

Either way, its good to see that she still lives, stronger and better than ever today, after nearly getting the axe three times, as you said.
