I understand this could be caused by the ABS sensor/relay karking it, but in my case its intermittent. Temp guage also goes off as does aircon. Could it just be a loose connection somewhere? Or could battery disconnect / reconnect cause a reset and fix it?

No its all symptoms of the module, my fuel gauge temp gauge all went haywire as well as the aircon not coming on.

As above, module does all that stuff.

Replace with the battery disconnected for crazy light free driving.

Yoiks, Holden want $1300. Anyone have a third party source for the ABS module?

Yoiks, Holden want $1300.

They should be ashamed of themselves.
Is that for the whole thing or just the black plastic part with the electornics in it because you only need that part.

No idea as I simply asked for P & A on an ABS module.

you need the number off the bottom of the electronic part, the most important are the last 3 numbers.

I don't know what numbers yours are but my V8's (both auto) had 486 and 398 - 590 didn't work from memory so make sure you get the right one - it's easiest to match the one you have.

Simply disconnect the battery negative, unplug the module, undo all 6 TORX and pull out the lower plug you can then inspect the label on the bottom and go from there to eBay.

The whole process only takes 10-15 mins to remove it.

Be aware many eBay sellers are refurbishing units and you send yours to replace - having a faulty unit won't stop the car from working so you can wait for the right one to pop up.

You do NOT need the pump, just the same electronic module.

This is the label you are after - this one is out of my Monaro. You must remove the module to see it though. Most sellers will have NO IDEA what you are referring to and often sell the entire unit including pump.
