Need a bit of advice please.

I had my front brake pads replaced the other day on my SS from a mechanic around the corner. Hadn't driven the car until tonight. So a few times the ABS warning light came on. All times were at low speed, when I had the wheel turned greatly to either side of the car and I was able to get it to go away be restarting the car.

I can still hear the clunk of the ABS check when I first turn on the car.

Two times were when i was first taking off after start up, the last was after I'd been driving for a good 20 minutes and was pulling a three point turn.

The mechanic said bring it back in and he'll have a look tomorrow. Do you guys think it could just be a loose sensor plug or maybe one got a little dirty? Or could've they buggered up the module? If they have, what should I do, push them to replace it for free? This is the first time its happened.
