hey man awsome looking car. im a p plater in wa with a blue vx. looks so much like ur car you should check it out its almost exact exept mines sitting on sl's all round and 20" chromes. i havn't had the camber kit done yet but it really needs one lol. do you rekon the nolathane bushes are worth it? everones been telling me to get it

yeah the bushes are definitely worth it! your lucky, my car is too low for a camber to fix my tyres slant, i went to tyre power, they told me i'd only get 3 months more wear out of my tyres, and since i only drive to/from work pretty much, they said not to bother, unless i really wanted id need a two point camber kit lols.


picking up chrome grille inserts & chrome window moulds today! WOOT WOOT

chrome window moulds are on, chrome grille is in!

next on list:

new barings, ultralows in front, tinted rear sun visor (when my store finally gets the one i ordered in!!), tinted bonnet guard (when it gets in), spray my dash same colour as calipers, put my new soundsystem in (pictures on previous pages)

i wont upload photo untill like two more weeks, then my car will pretty much be done (look wise)

different area's = different prices....

Seriously mate just go into a bursons/autobarn/supercheap and ask them how much. (if you can do the work yourself)
If you cant, go to a suspension shop, no matter what quote people give you on the net it will never be the same as when you go to get it done

how much did you pay for your moulds and grill?

moulds were 100 (fitted myself) and the grille was 20 for the set.
they made a really good difference, all i need is to put on my rear spoiler, rear sun visor, bonnet guard and tint the windows, then ill be pretty much done... still waiting for the rear sun visor i ordered to come in at work

and for the lowering, you are looking at springs(300) shocks (350) camber kit (400) thats all you really need, those are rough prices for you.

okays done some more stuff to the vt.


new sound system is set up, just needs to be bolted in (2x 6'9", 2 1000w subbs and a 4 channel amp) and two equalisers

dash fascia is primed and ready to be sprayed (going electric blue or devil red)

bonnet protector

rear sun visor

new vaccum hoses (as one had a gash and was making a hissing noise)

looks like im up for disk machining on the back and new pads as im getting heavy break dust and a scraping noise
