What problems are you having with the NDIS @Fu Manchu? Them approving funding?

My wife has NDIS funding for her stroke condition....We have a place called my plan manager, which approves all the necessary things required for her day to day living with no hastles through the NDIS...That company is Australia wide and their costs are taken from the NDIS plan....

Having dealt with the NDIS for 3 years, I know the headaches associated with them....Having this company on board has reduced the stress big time...So you need contact details holla...:)

Melatonin is the stuff our body produces to let us know it’s time for sleep. When sleep is disrupted by various causes, it’s not always produced in the right amounts or at the right time. Supplements of it for a short while can reset your brain’s production of it and grant you the rest your body needs once more. There’s quick and slow release forms. Tablet or liquid, and one may work well for some and not the other. Once a suitable form is found, it’s a helpful tool for regaining the rest we crave during stress, anxiety or trauma.

Yeah, I understand that. I don't think I'm that far gone atm. What I discovered after my 2nd shoulder surgery and having extended time off from shift work my sleep cycles improved naturally and now with my improved mental health and the monster keeping me awake less.

If I'm not mistaken sunlight has an effect on Melatonin production, in winter time I arrive and leave work during darkness, see very little sunlight, even in summer I'm arriving just as the sun is coming up and only see natural daylight for any extended period for a few hours after work. I feel just been outside more is refreshing and lifts the spirits.

I may try a melatonin supplement when I return to work and I'm back on shifts.

Why bother to tell the boss?

I'm all for full disclosure.

At least give him the opportunity to do something.

And if he doesn't, then don't come complaining to me when the very costly sh!t hits the fan.

Amongst long serving staff where I work we are all starting to come to our senses and the reality of the situation. Some of us have spent time trying to improve things but find ourselves butting heads with management and quiet frankly I'm not paid enough for that ****. I'm only there to meet my contractual obligations because I have bills to pay. Soon my biggest bill will be gone and the need for said contractual obligations cease and greener pastures will be on the horizon.

Space Balls, The Update:
• Repairs have been approved.
• I’ve got the tub off and replaced the tank.
• Tank does appear to have been nudged by the exhaust, but me fixing it all means it’s not getting written off and gets done to a far higher standard than a repairer would do.
• Beaver panel is creased
• Hinge looks bent but not where it mounts.
• I’ve been able to clean up the whole rear underside and give it a refresh.
• I’ve been able to replace the fuel pump and filters.
• Car purs like a kitty cat with a new pump and clean tank. Smoother than walking in yogurt.
•I’m sleeping well.

I did consider dropping just the tub to them. Best not incase they want to blend it somewhere.

With the tailgate off and the bumper off, the damage is negligible. I feel far more at ease with it.

All trims and fixtures have been striped and bagged for them, saving a lot of labour and get the cost down.

I’m hoping they will paint up a few extra bits to get it all looking how it should. Maybe? No harm trying.

An interesting conversation with the insurer as well. They now view Holdens as Collectable and Classic. They acknowledge their value on the market but are not prepared to insure them for those values and only offer a maximum insured value which comes at a huge premium. It's still a fraction of the current market value.
It was carefully suggested to move to insurers who specialise in classic cars.
The Cross8 is insured with one of those for more than twice the insured value of the Crewman at less money than my current policy with the RAC!
Also just found out we are no longer covered with a hire car. It was just dropped off the policy sometime over the last few years.

• Review your policies!
• Review your insurers!
• Take some time to go over the current market values of comparative cars the same as yours.

I was with APIA (Suncorp), but they couldn't insure me for the agreed values that I wanted, and referred me to Shannons (Suncorp)

A couple of weeks ago, I got an email from Defence Service Homes reminding me that they offer car insurance (QBE) at good rates.
So I did an online quote for the Monaro, and was surprised that they offered a higher agreed value at a cheaper rate than Shannons.
Whether that was a 'come on down' initial offer, I don't know, but could be an interesting time next year when the Shannons renewals are issued.

Try Shannon's mate, when I changed insurer's middle of last year they were very understanding of current market prices of V8 holdens & gave me a generous agreed value based on replacement like for like.
Also first option to keep the wreck especially if you have a lot of aftermarket parts tied up in it.

Same deal for me with my VH. They valued it at $50,000 with me having the option to keep it if wrecked.
