Depends on the track. Heathcote near me is basically your car, your life do what you want.
ANDRA tracks were always 10.99 or quicker needs a cage, but they have just changed it recently to suit modern cars. Can't have the same rules for a 30+ year old car with drum brakes, no airbags, etc compared to a modern car.
