ben running K&N for over 5 years and never had a problem with TB's and IAC's and i don't clean em every 5,000km either. maybe once every 12 to 18 months.

was thinking of re-designing the breathing system through a catch can so not as much oil works it's way into the TB but thats another post all together i think. yep, thats the next project i think

I run A K & N also just like to do the lot on a service.

Some re designing might be tho go for sure,something different.

Fitted Lukey filter so we'll see how it goes, looks to be of a high quality. Only 2 days till I get my license back!

They are made of a polyester fiber so you just shake them out or blow them out with a compressor every now and then, and every 6 months you just rinse them with plain water.

how much did that cost ya airstrike? sounds easy to clean since im lazy if you dont mind me asking,
ive heard some bad things about K&N since its oilbased? and also heard some good things about the lukey and blitz airfilters?

Well, I will be keeping my K&N unless some1 offers to swap me for their brand new Lukey or some1 buys it off me, dont have the dosh to buy another air filter.

I paid $45 from a seller on ebay, but I think they retail for around the $65-70 mark.

on the topic of filters what are these simota ones on ebay like? anyone had any excperience with them?
