vac hoses are a bitch... can't really help you much on this... all I can say is good luck and have fun. Make sure you forget the old rule "If at first you don't succeed, hit it really hard!!!" This doesn't help... neither does getting frustrated and ripping the carby off and throwing it up against a brick wall... all this does is make you have to buy a new one and start all over again... definatly not helpfull! If you happen to find a good diagram of vac hoses and stuff, please let me know where... I have tried and tried with no luck!

all the best

put masking tape around each hose and where they go to, number it off and it wont be so hard to reinstall.

There isn't 10 vacuum hoses mounted on the air filter housing. From memory there is two I think. Not including the crankcase ventilation hose. Chuck the rest but leave the crankcase hose.

there are two going to the bottom of the housing, one going to the airmatic thing, the crankcase ventilation, and also two more going to a little canister on the side of the housing.

making 5 vac lines plus the ventilation tube

I'll get back to you. I'd need to look at my manuals again to see what is what.

I am sure not all of them would come from the carb. Some might come from the manifold connectors. I'll look into it.
