Air coming through aircon vents when aircon off?

its weird i get warm air coming through the vents in my 05 vz sv6 when the aircon is off anyone know why? and what i need to do to fix it? cheers

Turn the dial to only make the air stay in the cabin, not from outside.
Also, turn it to feet only setting.

Should be a button or dial that says "re circulate".
This will close the air intake vents and prevent the outside air from coming in to the cabin.
If the selector is set to "fresh" or non circulate, the force of the air when driving, will push it through the vents.

If the air seems unusually warm when it's set to cold, the heater tap may be faulty.

is that the circle symbol?, the only time it doesnt come through the vents is if i set it to feet only...

yeah mines the manual dials, thats one of the settings where the air comes through the vents..its really annoying

May be the dial is faulty or you have a vacuum leak some where.
Because on re circulate, you should only get air through the face vents when the fan is switched on.

so going to an aircon place would be the way to go?

You could I suppose.
Not including the vent problem, is the air con itself working properly?
If so, any Mechanic worth his salt should be able to fix the problem with the vents.
