Air con issue - 2009 VE SSV Ute

[HIS VF]

Hi, I have a 2009 VE SSV, the air con is not working.
What I want to know is, the first time the aircon stopped, I took it to a guy and he jumped in - pressed some button and got it going again, he said he reset it. There’s no leaks , pressure is normal, the fans work, the electricals are all A-OK. Just doesn’t give cold air.
I have rego tomorrow and every mechanic and auto electrician nearby is booked out.
I have an appointment tomorrow at 2.00pm, and at 37 degrees Celsius… it’s going to be extremely hot.
I would appreciate it if anyone that knows what I’m talking about to help me out. What is the button that the dude pressed.
(And I asked him, he can’t remember ) so please any help out there will be appreciated.

The testing & reset procedure can be found in there when you read it.
It is worth the time to read and to read more than once!
