Today I had the air conditioner services, they replaced all the suction hoses and pipes, receiver drier, O rings, regased, ultra violet dye, shop supplies and 3 hours labour, all up $620.
Has anyone had the same done and how'd we do on price :).

I got an air-con system rebuilt in an '81 Volvo for $1800. New compressor, everything.

Hi Neddy
Did they replace the compressor?
Nope but everything else except the radiator thingy, they took a look at the compressor and said its good and not original Holden so that must have been changed just before the purchase of the car in 2010.

I'm happy with the $620 and gave it a 5 minute run and that's also far.
Its only been around the mid to high 30's so far but when the 40's days start we'll turn it on.

run a/c once a week even winter, keeps everything well lubed etc, stops seals drying out and causing leaks, I use mine when its 23C just about all year round
