VZ Crewman, VZ Cross 8, & ya mum.
The one from the throttle body to the manifold is different.

The barbs on the manifold have a few types, so don’t dive head on into it.
The early VZ LE0 had a pressed in brass barb for that pipe.
Then there are two plastic types found on the manifold. one that pulls out and has an o-ring. The other type is threaded and unscrews. These two types appear the same from the outside.

You can use vacuum hose to fit onto the plastic tube to repair it, but they need to fit onto larger barbs at each end. Tricky to adapt it.

My sons mate has a VZ and he snapped the RHS PCV hose at the manifold. He's taped it up and is swinging past Saturday for a looksee. Is this the 55 buck hose? I saw a YouTube vid where a bloke tapped in a brass barb fitting and put normal hose on it, I guess I'm trying to figure out the best way for him to go, I've not played with many Alloytecs

Great write up, I think we'll definitely do this trick to it

If you do get a Brass Barb Fitting,
Use some Heat with a Heat Gun or Hair Dryer and apply a bit of heat to the pipe,
and then you should be able to slide the fitting in to the hose.

I couldn't find the rascal when I popped the hood. The prix @ Holden aren't very assistive in matter, won't even confirm if I were to buy the 'whole replacement kit' if it would come with the improved hole size. Ended up ordering one from RockAuto in Wisconsin with an ETA of 5 Nov. Is there anyone in Ringwood area game to drill out (or swap with one you have drilled out) and replace for a reasonable sum/slab(s)? My toolkit is limited to hanging pictures on the wall and putting together Ikea furniture. Thanks for your consideration..

The existing PCV port is on the Right hand Rocker/Cam cover at the back can be modified,
And then order a replacement PCV hose unit,
Then it will be fixed permanently.

Mine was looking a bit more bent than normal and looks like the last guy attacked it with pliers? Wasn't too clogged up but I'll be popping a drilled out newie in plus a new hose and an intake breather hose while I'm at it.
